Multimedia Personality Discusses Historian’s Claim That African-Americans Enslaved as Late as 1960s

On Sept. 25, multimedia personality Todd A. Smith returned to “The Isiah Factor Uncensored” to discuss a historian’s claim that Black people were enslaved in America as late as the 1960s, not realizing they were free.

Smith said that Black people, convicted of bogus crimes, often got sold back into “slavery” to corporations and farmers long after the Emancipation Proclamation.

Furthermore, he believed that it would be possible to keep someone enslaved in the same way that kidnappers convince their captives not to escape confinement.
