Regal Media Group, LLC CEO Todd A. Smith made his return to “Isiah Factor Uncensored” on March 19 on Fox 26 in Houston.
The topic of the debate centered on President Donald Trump wanting the death penalty for drug dealers in an attempt to fight the opioid epidemic in America.
Other debaters included lawyer/radio host Charles “Big Angry” Adams and politician/lawyer Jolanda Jones.
Smith said such a law would unfairly and adversely affect African-Americans because, according to the Washington Post, African-Americans are more likely to be caught selling drugs even though on average, more White Americans are drug dealers than their African-American counterparts.
The Washington Post said this phenomenon is so because many African-Americans sell drugs on street corners, making them more visible to law enforcement, while many White Americans sell drugs behind closed doors to their friends, family members and acquaintances.
