On Feb. 15, multimedia executive Todd A. Smith returned to “Isiah Factor Uncensored” on Fox 26 in Houston to discuss the National Football League’s (NFL) settlement with former quarterback Colin Kaepernick and Carolina Panthers defensive back Eric Reid.
The Regal Media Group, LLC CEO said that the NFL still has an image problem because while Kaepernick remains unsigned, despite a financial settlement, players like Kareem Hunt, who put his hands on a woman on videotape, have received second chances.
Kaepernick created a firestorm in 2016 when he took a knee during the National Anthem to protest police brutality and systemic racism in America.
